The ELC Community gets behind Sydney FC

At English Language Company, student life is about more than just studying English. It’s also about experiencing life in Sydney, making new friends and sharing moments together.

As part of ELC’s new partnership with Sydney’s premier Football Club, Sydney FC, we had the opportunity to take a group of students to watch a professional game at highly discounted rates this month – only $15 per person! A whopping 70 students joined to support the blues!

The atmosphere through the night was amazing. Students from different countries connected over their shared love of football, cheering for Sydney FC and chanting in many different languages. For many students, it was also their first experience attending a professional football match in Australia, making the evening even more memorable.

With access to many more heavily discounted tickets, we know Sydney FC will continue to be supported by the ELC community in the coming weeks, as students have made plans to attend more games, starting with one in a couple of days.

We are excited to continue creating opportunities for students to experience Sydney, connect with others, and enjoy life outside the classroom.
