It’s been one of the liveliest weeks yet in ELC’s Junior Program! With students joining us from 18 countries, ELC continues to stand out as Sydney’s most culturally diverse and highest-quality Junior English program.
The campus buzzed with energy as students settled into their classes, launched into collaborative and creative projects, sharpened their English skills, and formed friendships with classmates from every corner of the globe. Outside the classroom, the adventure continued with a fantastic lineup of excursions and cultural experiences across some of Sydney’s best-loved attractions.
Learning English through projects and collaboration

In their English lessons, students took part in interactive, project-based activities designed to get them speaking, thinking, and creating together. Working alongside classmates from different backgrounds, they exchanged ideas, practised communication, and grew more confident using English in everyday situations.
The classroom quickly became more than just a place to study grammar and vocabulary, it turned into a space for cultural exchange and making international friends, where students picked up new perspectives from their international peers as they learned.
Exploring Sydney’s iconic landmarks
Students got a real taste of Australian history, wildlife, and culture, with visits to some of Sydney’s most iconic sites.
Sydney Opera House

Students toured the world-renowned Sydney Opera House, taking in its striking architecture and sweeping views across Sydney Harbour. It made for some unforgettable photo moments at one of Australia’s most iconic landmarks.
WILD LIFE Sydney Zoo

At WILD LIFE Sydney Zoo, students came face to face with five of Australia’s unique native animals, including wombats, emus, kangaroos, koalas, and wallabies, right in the heart of the city. Through animal encounters and conservation lessons, the visit gave them a deeper appreciation of Australia’s natural world.
Hyde Park Barracks

A trip to Hyde Park Barracks took students on a journey through Sydney’s past. Through the exhibitions and stories on display, they learned about the lives of early settlers and how the city grew over time.
Sydney Tower Eye

Students capped off their sightseeing with sweeping views from the Sydney Tower Eye. Taking in the city skyline from above was a definite highlight, offering a whole new perspective on Sydney.
Creating memories beyond the classroom

Between English lessons, group projects, and landmark adventures, it’s been a rich mix of learning, cultural exchange, and lasting memories.
With young learners from 18 countries coming together, ELC’s Junior Program keeps building a genuinely international environment, one where students grow their English, form friendships that last well beyond their time in Sydney, and get to experience the very best the city has to offer.
